Great story. Great ending. I was hooked from the beginning and got CHILLS when the strange man’s identity was revealed. Claire was a little reckless but what mom who is trying to protect their child isn’t!
This book is a must read for everyone. A very compelling book ,and page turner. The writing was flawless. Jannik Petterson draws you into the story. He is a master of his craft as an author.
The way the letters to Maddie started just broke my heart a little. Its such a clever way to grab me as a reader. The heartbreak her husband had about losing her. Then to have that twisted away into confusion and so much more kept me turning the pages. This is definitely a great starting read to 2025. I'd recommend it if you like a bit poignant and a bit sad book. It'll keep you guessing until the end.

Normally I don’t read this type of genre, but I love it! The story of Dave and Rose and heartfelt, it keeps you engaged and really gets your imagination flowing!
Great characters and storylines. There were so many twists in this book that I never anticipated. ISo much suspense in this book. A great book!
